What a gloomy day in Perth today—cold and rainy, a stark contrast to the scorching 45-degree summer in Paris, where people are cooling off by jumping into water fountains, as shown on the news.
This bit of news excites me and reminds me that I need to be in a place where I truly want to be. Perhaps I should consider traveling around the world since I have so many places I long to visit. I’m sure many of us feel the same way.
Traveling the globe might not be the easiest option in life, but it’s certainly not unachievable. Imagine how incredible it would be to see firsthand how people in different parts of the world live, what they eat, or even how they dance!
I feel like we’ve been stationary for too long, daydreaming instead of taking action. Perhaps I get bored easily with the mundane aspects of life, which doesn’t necessarily have to set the standard for everyone. A toast to the early and current adventurers who have roamed the world.
There’s never a perfect time to travel. We’ve just got to do it. We’re getting ready to dive into the world sooner rather than later, instead of waiting for retirement when I feel financially comfortable. I think many of us had this mindset in our twenties. Who says we can’t do it in our thirties or forties? Only we do.
